I spy book of animals

First off to say that we have been to Yellowstone Park today. We know that the big question on the audiences lip is what animals did you see. I mean we go around Knowsley Safari park 30 minutes from home, what might we achieve by travelling half way around the world.

Strangely Yellowstone has a lot in common with Knowsley. It costs about the same to get in, you drive around in a circle behind the car in front. However here there are no fences.

This last fact continues to trouble Sam in particular, so Sam and Josh sang along to frighten off the bears when they were forced out of the car to walk a short way (this is as advised). I kind of felt that we wouldn't notice we are in a small country sized wilderness not a safari park where the animals are hiding, unless we got out of the car.

Anyway a couple of hundred meters from where we got back in the car there was a big black bear lagubrioushly ambling along doing his thing. I thinks thats a thousand points and a triple word score for the Eye Spy book of animals.

You might see a bear in one of the attached photo's although it is a bit spot the ball.

The area is truly amazing scenery that defy's my small phone keyboards patience.

In other news Rachel is becoming a bigger USA fan everyday. Not only does she wear her I Love NY hat but I caught her yesterday buying a little US flag. I've a sneeking feeling she nips into the bathroom every morning to do the pledge of alegience.

She has bought another fridge magnet today, although she try's to make out this doesn't make her high maintenance.

Rachel may need to buy an "American Fridge" to fit all of her magnets on!!!
