Last day in Orlando

Here are a few thoughts as we think over the last few days in Orlando.

Everest at Animal Kingdom
Best Show: Monsters Inc. Laughter Floor Magic Kingdom
Best Parade: SpectroMagic (at night)
Best thing about the house: TV in the bedroom
New York v. Orlando: Orlando

'I shall miss this house and the swimming pool. I wish I had a friend with me to experience the moment.'

Mission Space at Epcot
Shuttle Launch Experience at Kennedy Space Centre
Best Show: Astronaut Encounter at Kennedy Space Centre
Best Parade: SpectroMagic (at night)
Best thing about the house: Space
New York v. Orlando: New York
'Disney was a brilliantly organised beautifully polished bundle of shiny friendly fun'

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios
Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom
Crush 'n' Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon
Best Show: 'Too many to choose from but Fantasia at Hollywood Studios was fantastic, close seconds were Turtle Talk with Crush (Epcot) and the Astronaut Encounter (Kennedy Space Centre).'
Best Parade: SpectroMagic (at night)
Best thing about the house: Air Conditioning - couldn't have survived without it, but in a very sad way I really liked the American style washing machine too!
New York v. Orlando: New York
'We've had a fantastic time with lots of high points and fun, fun, fun but now I'm ready for some natural beauty!'

Pirates of the Caribbean at Disney Quest
Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom
Everest at Animal Kingdom
Best Show: Lights Motor Action! Extreme Stunt Show at Hollywood Studios (a car stunt show)
Best Parade: SpectroMagic (at night)
Best thing about the house: Swimming Pool (I learnt how to do a Cannon Ball)
New York v. Orlando: Orlando
'We've had a great time in the house we borrowed and when we went to Disney World.'

Tomorrow we fly to Missoula, in Montana (via Seattle). We're staying at Kyla's house with her and her family. Johnny is distantly related to Kyla, but not in a way anybody has been able to describe to me. We're very grateful that she's brave enough to take our family on. We're not sure what internet access we'll have from there so you may not have the privilege of daily updates!
